2008 is the 30th anniversary of the Geothermal Workshop, New Zealand's longest running energy conference.

Thank you to all the delegates that joined us for this very special occasion.

Our theme this year was CELEBRATION! - of our people, of our past achievements and of the exciting future of geothermal energy use around the world, in particular New Zealand's contributions to the research, education and development of the resource.

We also celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Wairakei Power Station.

The workshop & seminar were a great success with over 270 delegates attending from across New Zealand, Australia, USA, Chile, Indonesia, Iceland, Japan and many more.
